HTTR works to improve the quality of life of the community we serve.
HTTR aspires to be the premier Haitian-focused organization working in partnership with the international community to build sustainable, healthy, and productive communities. Furthermore, HTTR's role is to mobilize and encourage financial donations from donor organizations, investors, and the Haitian Communities abroad to support local community projects that promote and inspire sustainable entrepreneurial endeavors in Haiti through training and mentorship programs.
HTTR places communities at the center of our development activities as we believe that only through healthy communities can Haitians feed themselves through joint efforts. We help facilitate modern training techniques to improve farming and crop yield. Our training encourages the development of underutilizing Haiti's abundant resources. We educate, care for, and protect the children in our program by promoting Haitian people's economic well-being to live in peace. As such, HTTR is committed to the following six fundamental values in its work and organizational life. These values serve as our working norms and establish the behavioral guidelines for a successful foundation.
HTTR works to ensure that its programs are highly effective and efficient in its service delivery. They are results-oriented, achieving social and economic sustainability to facilitate the desired significant results: gender and age-sensitive.
HTTR works respectfully in collaboration with Haitian government entities, community organizers, the private sector, and donors, assembling the appropriate resources to achieve common mutual objectives.
HTTR's board and staff work based on mutual respect and accountability, dialogue, and collaboration. In our work, we seek to understand others' views, ideas and recognize each person's positive contributions to build strong relationships within and beyond HTTR.
HTTR consistently works in a spirit of mutual trust, honesty, transparency, and accountability.
HTTR is committed to sharing information and resources in a respectful and collegial manner.
HTTR seeks to have a workforce reflecting inclusiveness, diversity, race, gender, and faiths.
